Camping
Camping behind the village hall.
At the moment there is no official campsite. Visitors are welcome to wild camp on Knoydart Foundation land and we ask that they they follow the MCoS wild camping code. We would prefer visitors NOT to camp behind the village hall or in other locations immediately behind the village as this has led to problems with the water supply. Most people who come use the long beach for camping - this is abut a 10 minute walk from the village. Donation are appreciated and can be put in the donations box in the display room in the village.
Quarter of a mile (400m) to the south-east of the village is a hostel owned by the Knoydart Foundation with ample accommodation for parties of up to about 25 people, ideal for scout and school trips but any age is welcome.
